Pelaw Community Bowls Club Statement
The club is aware of rumours circulating within the bowls fraternity surrounding Geoff Dunkley resignation. Our previous 2nd October statement explained he resigned from his Club Chair, Trustee and playing roles.
This was agreed, but since then Geoff has relinquished leading our Club Warm Space community activity which the Club also agreed to, but this activity continues as normal. We understand Geoff intends bowling full time elsewhere, and he does so with our continued best wishes.
Our previous statement paid tribute to Geoff and his wife Margaret for all they have done for our club.
The Club and its activities continue, including preparing for our Awards Night and AGM, and we are sure Geoff will support quelling any continuing rumours in the best interests of our Club and his legacy built with it.
