When contacting the emergency services from the green the saying of the "The Three Words" will direct those services directly to your location

Driving:
From the felling By-pass and Heworth Roundabout, drive past Lidl and then Aldi. Next on the right is the Metro sign. 50 metres past the sign, heading downhill is a zebra crossing. Turn immediate left into Taylor Gardens and then immediate right into Cowpath Gardens. This is a small back lane. At the bottom is a small park area, where you can park your vehicle. If you reach the traffic lights at the bottom of the hill on the main road you have gone too far.
From Hebburn, cross Bill Quay bridge. Shortly after are a set of traffic lights. Head through the light. As you head up the hill you will see a zebra crossing. Turn right just before this crossing into Taylor gardens and then as above.
By Metro: Head for Pelaw Metro Station. Exiting walk towards the main road for Pelaw. Turn right at the main road and head down to the zebra crossing. Follow the directions as per driving.
By Bus: The main bus from either South Shields or Newcastle to Pelaw is the No 27 which stops close by the Bowling Club access. Follow the directions as above.
